You can schedule a computer for a maximum of 60 minures per day at Yakima Valley Libraries branches. Individual session lengths vary by library. Ask staff for assistance. Your library account and password are required.
Adults use their library card to schedule a computer session and to login to the computer station. Adults will agree to abide by the rules in YVL’s Internet Use Agreement when they login.
Minors use their library card and password to schedule a computer session and to login to the computer station. In addition to their library card, a minor’s parent or legal guardian must sign a Yakima Valley Libraries Use Agreement indicating that the minor has permission to use the Internet. The parent/guardian will also indicate the level of access they would like for their child, filtered or unfiltered. When logging onto the library computer, the minor's card will allow either filtered or unfiltered access according to what was chosen by the parent/guardian.
Computer sessions can be scheduled from a computer within the library or through the library’s web site.
