Branch Hours

EXPANDED HOURS AT NACHES LIBRARY 
To better serve residents of both the Naches and Nile areas, the Naches Library will open an additional five hours per week. Beginning Friday, January 15, the Naches Library will be open the following hours:
Tuesday and Thursday, 2:00 to 7:00pm
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10:00am to 3:00pm

“We have made these changes in response to requests from Nile residents,” said Kim Hixson, Interim Director of Yakima Valley Libraries. “They want to be able to stop by the library at a time convenient for them. And we want to be able to give them the library service they need.” Following the slide on October 11, the Nile Library has been closed. The staff have been working at the Naches Library, and are always happy to see their customers. “Now, with these extra open hours, library service will be more accessible to everyone,” said Hixson.
