The Downtown Yakima Library has been located in the heart of downtown Yakima for over 100 years and is the largest branch in the Yakima Valley Regional Library system. The collection includes books, magazines, books on cassette and CD, music CDs, Videos, DVDs, Spanish materials and large print books. The library has a special Reference section and Children's Services area. It also houses the library system's service center which includes programing for all ages, outreach services, technical services, information technology, and administration.
