Naches is a small, friendly library. Opened on
November 8, 1947 in a corner of City Hall,
the library has moved three times. It has been in its present
location since 1960. Naches
is probably one of the only libraries in the country with FIRE
STATION written in cement
over the door. It may also be the only library in the United
States in which the rest
room is an old jail cell!
