The Buena Library began life as the Buena Book Nook in the back of Buena Mercantile during World War I. It has also been housed in the Buena community church, and a donated house. Currently the library is located in a mobile home on the main street of town. The library is a true community center for this small community. It is a place where you can finish your homework, do a jigsaw puzzle, surf the net, find a good book, movie, or music CD, have fun with your family and friends. Students may also apply for BLAST, the Buena Library After School Tutoring program, sponsored by the active Friends of the Buena Library. The Friends also host special celebrations for the whole family.
